In the midst of the announcements of permanent closures and business transfers, Balenciaga opens today its new store in Barcelona. News that confronts the devastating effects of the pandemic, which means a huge (and necessary) dose of optimism for the fashion industry. Located on the Passeig de Gràcia, 101, the local with an industrial minimalist style and where the smallest detail is taken care is divided into two floors, with a total of 356 square metres. The ground floor, dedicated to women's ready-to-wear and accessories, and the basement floor, aimed at its range of men's products. Great news that shows the good condition of the brand.
Their particular aesthetic imaginary has captivated the younger generations, having managed to respond to the demands of an increasingly demanding public. Making modernity and innovation their emblem, Balenciaga has not renounced tradition and the preservation of its legacy. And their new store in Barcelona is a good example of this philosophy in which past, present and future meet. Betting on materials such as extruded aluminium, glass and steel, and maintaining the original walls of the establishment, the Maison provides the note of softness and distinction in the form of a logo-carved blue wool, reminiscent of the setting in which they presented their Spring/Summer 2020 collection, inspired by the European Parliament. Come and discover their new store!
