Time to embrace the absurd. We are invited to explore David Shrigley’s deadpan sensibility and witty humour through an exclusive compilation of his latest artworks. Featuring his signature drawing style, and accompanied by his humorous handwritten texts, Get Your Shit Together is the first book to exclusively feature the British artist’s recent artwork in colour.

With two hundred and forty pages, this volume, published by Chronicle Books is the largest publication on Shrigley’s work to date. Divided into sections such as Stupid, Nonsense, Dirt, Fear, Paranoia, Love, or Self Delusion, the book is structured and organised into different chapters which can be enjoyed in any order.
The beloved artist is best known for his distinctive drawing style and his satirical commentary on everyday situations and human interactions. His quick-witted drawings, hand-rendered texts, paintings, animations, and neon texts filter the mundane through an unguarded sense of humour. Most of us have seen his work displayed in Sketch, London’s celebrity, local and tourist favourite dining rooms, the iconic monochrome pink room has been synonymous to Shrigley’s work for years. We are now able to bring his iconic imagery to our own living rooms with this new dazzling publication. Additional design details include a light blue ribbon marker with one of his mordant sayings printed on it “It won't be like this forever.”
